At SIS\, Sam is able to pursue this on a larger scale – helping employers better their overall company culture\, benefits packages\, and adding to their bottom line. After 10 years assisting insurance brokers by putting together benefits packages for their clients\, Samantha made the shift to CEO and started her own insurance agency in 2021. With her extensive background working with small and large employers and having first hand knowledge working on the carrier and the wholesale side of insurance\, she is now able to focus on the core values that SIS lives by while helping her clients and their companies reach their full potential. \n  \n \nMichael Saab\nPartner & Benefit Consultant\nPWA Insurance Services LLC\, an Alera Group Company\n \nMichael Saab has been in the insurance industry since 1995 and joined PWA Insurance Services in 1998.  In 2017\, Michael became a partner in the firm.  He received his Bachelor Degree in Communication from California State University\, Chico\, and has conducted several seminars and webinars on COBRA\, Benefits Management\, HIPAA and Health Care Reform for PWA and local SHRM chapters.  He has received his NAHU Certification in Account Based Health Plans\, Self-Funding and the Processional\, and achieved his Academy of Healthcare Management designation in 2012 from AHIP.   He is a past chair and member of UC Davis Health System’s Community Advisory Board\, served on the Board of Directors for Crossroads Diversified Services from 2013 to 2020\, SAHU Program Chair from 2020 to 2022\, a member of Kiwanis for 14 years and on the Board of Directors for the Land Park Soccer Club from 2012 to 2022. He’s very passionate about the industry and challenges his clients to be more proactive in how they address healthcare costs for their employees. \n  \nTeri Blake\nRegional Sales Manager\nThe Word & Brown Companies \nTeri Blake proudly serves the brokerage community in Sacramento and surrounding counties as Word & Browns Regional Sales Manager.  With over 20 years in the industry\, Teri continues to build meaningful relationships with brokers in her region providing Word & Browns sales support\, presentations strategies\, marketing strategies for growth and carrier product knowledge.  Teri has served on the Sacramento Association of Health Underwriters in various positions for several years.  She lives in Folsom with her husband Jeremy\, enjoying the outdoors with their 3 dogs and 2 horses.
