LLM\, who leads the benefit practice for Murphy Austin LLP.  Scott will be providing an update on the SECURE Act\, CARES Act\, new/pending legislation\, the new administration and CalSavers\, California’s new mandated payroll deduction IRA savings plan for employers not otherwise providing employees with a retirement plan. Galbreath\, J.D.\, LL.M.\, leads the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Team at Murphy Austin. He has more than 30 years of experience representing employers in ERISA\, employee benefits\, and executive compensation matters. Scott also practices in the areas of tax\, estate planning\, business and nonprofit law. \nScott’s benefits practice includes counseling for-profit\, tax exempt and governmental clients on all aspects of employee benefits; choosing appropriate retirement\, deferred compensation\, equity compensation\, cafeteria and other health and welfare benefit plans; and using benefits to attract and retain key executive and management employees.  Scott has earned his certification as a specialist in Taxation Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
