CAHIP NorCal Spreads Holiday Cheer Through Support of River Oak Center for Children's Annual Toy Drive
This holiday season, CAHIP Norcal proudly supported once again the River Oak Center for Children’s annual Toy Drive, contributing to the success of their "Winter Wonderland" event. Through online donations and toy drop-offs, the drive brought joy to countless families, creating cherished memories during a time of year that can often be stressful for many.
On the day of the event, CAHIP Norcal board members—David Brabender, President; Lauren Bayha, Executive Director; Andrew Garnett, Community Services Chair; Shae Trombatore, Media Chair; and Kyle Frantz, Communications Chair—volunteered their time wrapping gifts for children and families. The festive spirit was contagious as families flowed in and out, enjoying the beautifully decorated "Winter Wonderland" and the warmth of a community coming together for a meaningful cause.
About River Oak Center for Children River Oak Center for Children is one of the region’s largest providers of behavioral and mental health services for financially disadvantaged children and youth. Serving over 1,000 children and youth daily, the organization offers innovative, evidence-based practices tailored to the individual needs of each family, ensuring the highest quality care.
During the holidays, River Oak recognizes the unique challenges faced by families already struggling to meet basic needs. Their annual Toy Drive and Santa’s Workshop aim to brighten the season by providing gifts to children and their siblings, easing stress and creating lasting joy. Last year, over 1,000 children and youth, from birth through age 21, received holiday gifts thanks to the generosity of community members.
CAHIP Norcal is honored to be part of this impactful initiative and looks forward to continuing its partnership with River Oak Center for Children to support their incredible work in the community.
