SAHU to Host Annual 2021 Crab Feed as Virtual Event
SACRAMENTO, CA 19 Feb 2021 — The Sacramento Association of Health Underwriters (SAHU) is proud to announce their 21st Annual Crab Feed as a first-ever virtual event and fundraiser.
This year we are holding a unique drive-thru event to stay connected while we manage social distancing and healthy observances. We will have an online program that will feature all donations and acknowledge the donors. Our committee has been very creative in our endeavor to meet the needs of our members while staying engaged.
Attendees will participate in an online auction, starting on February 26 and going until March 3, where they can win exclusive prizes while benefitting local charities.
The event culminates with a Wild West-themed dinner pickup on Friday, March 5, where attendees and members alike will come dressed in their Western best to safely pick up gourmet dinners to-go.
Tickets for the SAHU Crab Feed are on sale now and are available to members and non-members for only $55. Each ticket covers a gourmet meal for one and entrance to the Online Auction.
The proceeds for the event support our work on behalf of the health industry on the local, state and federal levels, and to provide funding for local community service. We support the Sacramento Food Bank, Acres of Hope, Alzheimer’s Walk for the Cure, and the River Oaks Center for Children as well as other charitable organizations.
